Invited by SOCMA, Manila Seven Sages Basketball Club from the Philippines represents SOCMA in the 25th Anniversary International Basketball Tournament (40/50 age group) hosted by the Quanzhou Old Friends Basketball Club during October 17 to 22, 2024 in Quanzhou. The tournament featured a total of eight renowned basketball clubs from Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, and Xiamen, Fujian.

October 18th, Ms. Wang Li, Director of the Singapore Tan Kah Kee Foundation and granddaughter-in-law of Tan Kah Kee, along with her delegation, made a special visit to SOCMA. This visit is part of their trip back to China to attend the series of events commemorating the 150th anniversary of Tan Kah Kee's birth and their visit to Quanzhou. Mr. Guo Junfeng, General Manager of SOCMA, Mr. Cai Shaofeng, Director of the International Sales Department, and Mr. Chen Qinglin, Key Account Manager of the International Sales Department, accompanied the delegation throughout the visit and extended a warm welcome.
